ITRA is the International Technical Rescue Association. This global non-profit organization recognizes technical rescue workers and instructors, in a wide variety of rescue disciplines, including rapid water rescue, rope, boat, confined space, structural collapse (USAR), animal rescue, tactical and emergency transport rescue.

ITRA rope rescue training at SafetyPro
Do you want to start a height rescue team of do you need training in rope rescue? Then choose one of our ITRA courses. We offer three levels and each level has his own admission requirments. Contact us for a custom-made training.
- ITRA Level 1: Rope responder as part of a team. Basic knowledge of rope access techniques, able to assist under minimal supervision in height rescue and low angle stretcher rescues.
- ITRA level 2: Technician as part of a team. Knowledge of rope access techniques. Can assist and lead under minimal supervision in height rescue, low angle stretcher rescues and high angle stretcher rescues.
- ITRA level 3: Advanced team leader. Takes charge of height rescue, low angle stretcher rescues and high angle stretcher rescues.
